Istanbul!

After a very very long day of travel we have made it to Istanbul! It was about another 4 hours from Paris to Istanbul and the seats had no extra leg room for anyone...poor Peter...

We are staying at the Istanbul Airport Courtyard this evening...quite the experience..we found the shuttle at the airport..as we entered the property the shuttle fan was swept with a mirror and then outer bags all went through an X-ray machine when we enter the hotel...

I guess we are not in the most touristy part of town and are quite a distance from the old town and historic area...there seems to be quite a bit of construction in the area. So our view is not that great.

I expected that we would not be up for much so our only plans are for dinner in a few hour..so we are all taking a much needed showe and quick rest...and our day will come to an end....
